Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when a customer may cancel an order, request a refund, receive a correction or reissue, or exercise a statutory right of withdrawal in connection with an Origin Moment purchase.

This Policy forms part of the Origin Moment Terms of Service.

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer right that applies under applicable law.

1. Origin Moment is a personalized digital product

Origin Moment creates personalized digital keepsakes using information selected or supplied by the customer.

Depending on the product, this may include:

  • a personalized certificate;
  • a downloadable PDF;
  • astronomical and historical content;
  • a permanent QR-linked Time Capsule;
  • owner-access and recovery functionality;
  • related digital services.

No physical product is supplied unless expressly stated otherwise.

Because each Origin Moment is generated using customer-specific information, the product cannot generally be resold or reassigned like a standard non-personalized product.

However, personalization does not remove any mandatory refund, withdrawal or consumer rights provided by law.

2. Before payment

Online payment processing is not currently available. If payment has not been completed, there is nothing to refund.

Creating a Preview or preparing an order does not constitute payment.

If an unpaid order expires or is abandoned, no charge is made.

3. Statutory right of withdrawal

Depending on applicable law, consumers purchasing online may have a statutory period in which they can withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

Under Armenian consumer law, subject to statutory exceptions, this period is generally 14 days for a distance contract.

Other countries may provide equivalent or additional rights.

Where such a right applies, you may exercise it by sending Origin Moment an unequivocal statement that you wish to withdraw from the contract within the applicable period.

4. Immediate digital delivery

Origin Moment is designed to begin creating and delivering the personalized digital product shortly after successful payment verification.

Where applicable law permits a statutory withdrawal right to end because digital performance has begun or a service has been fully performed, Origin Moment will rely on that rule only if all legally required conditions have been satisfied.

This may include, depending on applicable law:

  • prior express consent to immediate performance;
  • acknowledgement of the consequences for the withdrawal right;
  • required pre-contract information;
  • required contract confirmation.

If those legal requirements have not been satisfied, Origin Moment will not deny a statutory withdrawal merely by saying that the product is digital.

5. Change-of-mind refunds

If you change your mind:

  • where a statutory withdrawal right still applies, we will honor that right;
  • where the statutory withdrawal right has lawfully ended, Origin Moment is generally not required to provide a change-of-mind refund for an already created and delivered personalized Origin Moment;
  • before permanent issuance or substantive digital performance, Origin Moment may voluntarily cancel and refund an order where reasonably possible.

Any voluntary refund does not create an obligation to provide the same discretionary refund in every future case.

6. Errors made by Origin Moment

If the final Origin Moment materially differs from the information that you correctly submitted and approved, or if a defect attributable to Origin Moment materially affects the product, contact us.

Depending on the circumstances, we may provide:

  • correction;
  • reissue;
  • restoration of missing access;
  • replacement digital delivery;
  • price reduction;
  • refund;
  • another remedy required by law.

Where correction or reissue can bring the product into conformity without material inconvenience to the customer, that may be the most appropriate first remedy.

This does not remove any right to a refund where applicable law entitles you to one.

7. Errors in information supplied by the customer

You are responsible for reviewing the information you provide before ordering, including:

  • names;
  • dates;
  • selected location;
  • Wedding partner information;
  • Gift Mode information;
  • other personalization details.

If the final Origin Moment accurately reproduces information that you supplied or approved incorrectly, this will generally not be treated as an Origin Moment defect.

For example, entering an incorrect birth date and approving it before purchase does not normally make the delivered product defective.

Where reasonably possible, Origin Moment may nevertheless offer a correction or reissue.

A correction or reissue for a customer-provided error may be free or subject to a reasonable charge, depending on the circumstances and the policy displayed at that time.

No such rule limits mandatory consumer rights.

8. Failure to deliver

If payment has been successfully verified but Origin Moment cannot provide the purchased digital product because of a technical problem attributable to us, we will first attempt to complete or restore delivery within a reasonable period.

If we cannot provide the purchased product within the applicable agreed or legally required period, you may be entitled to:

  • cancel the contract;
  • receive a refund;
  • use another remedy available under applicable law.

We will not keep payment for a product that we are legally required to provide but permanently cannot deliver.

9. PDF, QR, Time Capsule or owner-access problems

A temporary problem with a downloadable PDF, QR, Time Capsule or owner-access function does not automatically require cancellation of the whole purchase if the problem can be promptly corrected.

Origin Moment may first:

  • restore access;
  • regenerate delivery;
  • repair the relevant function;
  • provide an appropriate reissue.

If a material problem cannot be remedied within a reasonable period, the customer retains any refund, price-reduction or termination rights provided by applicable law.

10. Duplicate or incorrect charges

If you are charged more than once for the same transaction because of an Origin Moment or payment-processing error, contact us.

A confirmed duplicate charge will be refunded or reversed as appropriate.

If the amount charged differs from the amount that was properly displayed and authorized, the matter will be investigated and corrected in accordance with applicable law and payment-provider rules.

11. Unauthorized payments

If you believe a payment was made without your authorization, contact your bank or payment provider promptly and notify Origin Moment.

Origin Moment may cooperate with the payment provider in investigating the transaction.

Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory or payment-network rights concerning unauthorized transactions.

12. Promotional and complimentary Origin Moments

If an Origin Moment was issued free of charge through:

  • a 100% promotional code;
  • complimentary issuance;
  • internal/test issuance;
  • another authorized zero-price method,

there is no purchase price to refund.

However, where applicable, correction, reissue, privacy and other statutory rights may still apply.

13. Refunds for gifts

Where one person purchases an Origin Moment for another person, any monetary refund will normally be returned to the original payer using the original payment method, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

The gift recipient does not automatically become entitled to receive money paid by another person.

14. How to request a withdrawal or refund

You may submit a refund or withdrawal request to [email protected].

The request should include enough information to identify the transaction, for example:

  • Order ID;
  • Certificate ID, where available;
  • purchaser contact information;
  • reason for the request where relevant.

A customer exercising a statutory no-reason withdrawal right does not need to justify the decision.

Do not send a Recovery Code, private owner link or other confidential credential through an insecure message.

15. Refund timing

Where a valid statutory withdrawal requires a refund under Armenian law, Origin Moment will refund payments received no later than 14 days after being informed of the consumer's decision to withdraw, subject to applicable statutory rules.

For other approved refunds, we will initiate the refund without undue delay.

After Origin Moment initiates a refund, the time required for the funds to appear may also depend on the acquiring bank, card issuer or payment provider.

16. Refund method

Where required by Armenian consumer law, a refund will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless the consumer agrees to another lawful method and the alternative can technically be provided.

Origin Moment will not require a customer to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund where applicable law requires money to be refunded.

17. Access after a full refund or withdrawal

If a purchase is validly cancelled or fully refunded, Origin Moment may disable future access to the corresponding paid digital content or service where permitted by law.

This may include making the related Origin Moment, owner access or digital service unavailable.

Any such action remains subject to applicable rights concerning customer-provided data and other mandatory legal requirements.

18. Chargebacks

We encourage customers to contact Origin Moment first where practical so that ordinary delivery, correction or refund issues can be resolved directly.

However, nothing in this Policy removes any lawful right to contact your bank, card issuer, payment provider, regulator or court.

Origin Moment may provide transaction and delivery records to a payment provider where reasonably necessary to respond to a lawful payment dispute.

19. Abuse and fraud

Origin Moment may investigate refund requests involving suspected:

  • fraud;
  • repeated misuse of promotional systems;
  • unauthorized access;
  • deliberate false claims;
  • manipulated payment disputes.

A suspected abuse does not remove mandatory consumer rights.

Refund decisions must still comply with applicable law.

20. International consumers

Customers may have additional mandatory consumer rights in the country where they reside.

This Refund Policy does not replace or reduce those rights.

If a mandatory consumer rule applicable to you provides more favorable rights than this Policy, that mandatory rule will apply.

21. Changes to this Refund Policy

Origin Moment may update this Policy to reflect:

  • changes in law;
  • payment-provider requirements;
  • bank acquiring arrangements;
  • product changes;
  • operational improvements.

The current version will display its version and last-updated date.

A later version will not be used to retroactively remove mandatory rights attached to an earlier purchase.

22. Language

Origin Moment may provide this Refund Policy in more than one language.

For consumers in Armenia, legally required consumer information will be made available in Armenian where required.

Translations should preserve the substance of the consumer rights described in the English version.
